To keep this fire burning till the end of time



To go for a long holiday!!!

Yesterday was blissful. HE called me in the evening, asking me if I want to join him for dinner. Of course I agreed.

Rushed to finish off my work and sped off in a taxi to the other island called Sentosa. Only to realise when I was there that he had just had to go for a meeting.

Patiently, I waited. Walked round the resort till I think I look very familiar to those Bangladesh people and also some others. Till the extend that I was approached to ask why I am there.

Slightly after an hour, he called and we begin our stroll for dinner. Was disturbed again by his staff. Left without a choice, I went on my own, to look for food.

At that late a time, all were closed except for 7-11. Decided to head out for dinner after he finish work. Bought a drink for each of us before heading back to the resort.

Again, waited patiently. Went to Lau Pa Sat for dinner before heading for a night out with only the two of us.

Blissed. I was determined to show him how much he meant to me.

Expect to have more of this, only to be disappointed upon hearing that he is on the mid-night shift for quite sometime.

This may sound like a fairy-tale. But it is a real-life story.

If only it could just go on... and on... and on...

We could have made it actually. Not surprise if a kid is tagged along.
